We are especially proud  of our Victorian shop built about 1902.  The owner Michael Parker has faithfully restored this turn of the century hardware store and preserved the craftsmanship and ambiance of an age long since passed.  All of our visitors remark at the great "vibes" you feel as soon as you walk in the door.  We think of it as your grandma's parlor with a lot of wine in it!

Among our guiding principles is a desire to seek out the most genuine and interesting wines available, wines manifesting real character and sense of place.  And because we fervently believe that wine should be easily accessible and not overly mysterious, we stock both humble and great wines and always emphasize that food and wine are essential to the quality of life.  We have several bars specializing in serving wine by the glass, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and also serve special desserts and cheese dishes which we paire with wines from our shop.  This makes  the wine experience in our shop more interesting and enjoyable.
